The 8t h National Conference on Landscape Architecture 2025 (NCLA 2025)
On May 1, 2025, the Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Kasetsart University, hosted the 8th National Conference on Landscape Architecture (NCLA 2025) under the theme “Landscape et al. (2025),” which aims to present new perspectives on integrating the science of landscape architecture with other dimensions of contemporary society.
This event is the result of collaboration Thai Association of Landscape Architects between and the academic network of landscape architecture from 10 educational institutions.
Which offer courses in the field of landscape architecture, with the aim of creating a space for knowledge and experience exchange among academics, professionals, and the general public.
The activities within the event are divided into two main parts:
- Morning session: A discussion on the topic “Well-being in Everyday Landscapes: Where Design Meets Daily Living,” which presents ideas on the importance of spaces that promote well-being and ways to bring nature back into daily life, at the main stage of Architect ’68.
- Afternoon: Presentation of academic works in landscape architecture by representatives from educational institutions and the professional sector, covering a wide range of contemporary topics in Jupiter 8 and Jupiter 10.
This academic conference was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from all sectors. It reflects the strength of Thailand’s academic network in landscape architecture and marks an important step in the development of knowledge and practices in the profession.
